Good balance and mobility is essential to successful aging, functional health and independence. We offer the nationanally award winning FallProofTM Balance and Mobility program which is scientifically tested and has shown to improve balance and mobility and reduces the risk of falls among older adults.
FallProof was recognized in 2003 by the National Council on Aging as one of the seven examplanary model programs and was developed by Debra J. Rose, Ph.D, the Director of the Center for Succesful Aging at California State University (CSU) Fullerton. What sets this program apart is that the FallProof program utilizes a multidimensional approach to the assessment and treatment of balance-related problems. Best of all FallProoftraining can be done in your home one-on-one, or scheduled in small groups at senior residential communities.
Fallproof is beneficial for individuals that have experienced a: loss in balance and mobility due to the aging process, loss in muscle strength, stroke, diabetes, hip or knee replacement, long-term illness or bed rest, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, osteoarthritis, due to side effects of cancer treatment, heart disease, osteoporosis or osteopenia, and history of falls.
