Receive training in first aid, CPR, AED, just CPR and AED from the comfort and convenience of your home. First-time training or Renewal training can be done without having to step foot in a classroom. We offer the American Heart Association Heartsaver courses that do not require prior medical training. The courses and renewal refresher blended courses are DVD-based and can be done from utilizing your TV with DVD or mirroring capabilities, or computer or instructor laptop.
You have two options:
1. In-home Heartsaver classroom training: have the instructor come to your home and take you and or friends and family through the complete training. upon successful training you receive a certificate valid for 2 years.
2. Blended in-home and on-line web-based training:
You are able to complete Part 1, Heartsaver First Aid, CPR AED Online which is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver blended learning course and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid, CPR and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on session Part 2 with an AHA Heartsaver Instructor. The blended course provides students with the convenience of completing the course at their own pace. Part 1 includes interactive exercises and videos to engage students and provide periodic points of knowledge transference, along with audio and transcript for students who may have a hearing or visual disability. Upon successful completion, student(s) also receive a certificate which is valid for 2 years.

Classroom course requires a student manual and students are recommended to purchase their student manual directly from an AHA provider for $2.50
If you prefer to have Fitness & Function order and purchase the manual for you the cost is $20. You can purchase an ebook instead (make sure you have your ebook reader available during training). You can also purchase an “AHA eBook” from American Heart Association.
2. Part 2 of blended training following Part 1 online eLearning Fees
The blended course is a great option for renewing your first aid, CPR and AED training and includes a brief review using DVD-based training and skills practice and skills testing.
